Winter Chardham Yatra

You all must be knowing about the Char Dham Yatra. The Char Dham Yatra is a pilgrimage in Uttarakhand in which lakhs of people come every year. And this Char Dham Yatra opens for 6 months every year and remains closed for 6 months. The Yatra remains open in the summer season and the Yatra closes in the winter season due to heavy snowfall.

When the doors are closed, there are many people who want to visit these four Dhams in the winter season. But no one is allowed to go on the Char Dham Yatra during the winter time. Because there is so much snow there that no one can go there. Therefore, the doors of all the four Dham’s are closed in the winter season. But now the question is how can we visit the four Dham’s in winter.

1. To visit the four Dhams in the winter season, first of all you have to visit the statue of Yamuna Mata in Yamunotri Dham. And the winter darshan of Yamuna Mata is available in Shanidev temple of Kharsaali village.
2. Now when we talk about Gangotri Dham, there is a statue of Gangotri Mata in Gangotri Dham. You can have her winter darshan in Mukhwa.
3. After visiting Gangotri Dham, now comes the turn of Kedarnath Dham. So you will have to go to Omkareshwar temple and do the winter worship of Kedarnath Dham. You will get the darshan of Panchmukhi present in Kedarnath Dham in Omkareshwar temple only.
4. After Kedarnath, it is the turn of Badrinath, so in winter Badrinath darshan will be done in Narsingh Devta temple.
